General Information

Procedures: Wherever possible, tests are performed by approved official methods by such professional societies and government agencies. AMA has an ISO 9001 Compliant Quality Management System (QMS).

Custom Analyses can be performed and NEW METHODS can be developed to satisfy your specific requirements.

Test Results: A Certificate of Analysis reporting all results is submitted upon completion of testing.  Interim results can be reported by
phone: 845-634-4330 or fax: 845-634-5565.

Confidentiality: All work is held in strictest confidence. AMA is always willing to sign confidential secrecy or non-disclosure agreements.

Sample Submission: Detailed written instructions must accompany all samples.  Perishable products should be packed in dry ice and shipped during early part of the week.  If necessary, AMA will advise you on the quantity of material needed for the tests to be performed.  Generally, a minimum of 120 grams is required; Repeat Insult Patch testing requires 400 gram samples.

Sample Preparation: Because the matrix of many products varies considerably, special sample preparation and compositing may be required.  In such instances, the fee is generally $10 to $25 per sample.  An additional charge will be applied to samples requiring excessive extraction, heating, formulating or other procedures.  Notification in advance of such requirement will be communicated.

 Sample Retention: Unless advised otherwise:

Perishables - 2 months beyond study completion
Non-perishables - 3 months beyond study completetion or up to 3 years, if the sample is known to be in support of government application

Special Rush Analyses:AMA will accommodate special emergency situations whenever possible.  A surcharge of 50 - 100% will be applied in such a situation.

Terms: Net 30 days. 1.5% monthly service charge on past due balances.

Discounts: Discounts are available based on sample volume and long term contracts.

Note: Call for prices.  All prices will be per sample unless otherwise noted.
